Parrot Mountain and Gardens
For years, we had heard good things about Parrot Mountain, but just couldn’t envision what it was. It ended up being the highlight of our Spring Break trip that year. Parrot Mountain sits high up on the mountain, over in the Dollywood area. There are birds of all kinds there. Some are out in the open and some are in cages. You are able to interact with the friendlier birds by feeding them right out of your hands. In addition, the grounds are lovely with a beautiful garden. The whole family truly enjoyed the visit and we highly recommend it. The walkways are steep so I would not choose this attraction for a person with mobility issues or in a wheelchair. This is primarily an outdoor attraction, so pick a nice weather day to visit. http://www.parrotmountainandgardens.com/
